West Moor Farm Equestrian Centre

West Moor Farm Equestrian Centre is situated near Longhorsley, Morpeth (Northumberland). We are are easily accessible, with excellent road links to the A1.
This purpose build Equestrian Centre boasts all the facilities necessary to run equine events, safe in the knowledge that the weather will not dampen your day. Whether it is arena hire, competing or hiring our facilities to host your own events, we are on hand to provide you with all the support and assistance you may need. We even have an authentic Italian Pizzeria on site for those tired of burgers from a van!
Indoor Arena
60m x 30m indoor arena. High quality surface of sand, fibre and wax. Full length viewing area. A jumping course is set up to hire from Thursday- Saturday and for flatwork Monday and Tuesday 8am-8pm.
Outdoor Arena
65m x 34m outdoor rubber, sand, fibre arena. Frost resistant. Warm up area for our competitions. Available to hire Monday-Sunday 8am-8pm.

January 18, 2022 - Would just like to thank Tristan and Cedric for my fabulous , well mannered, 2 year old Knabstrupper gelding I purchased from them less than 2 weeks ago. I have never experienced a breed like it ! they are so friendly, well mannered, brave , trainable and the time and effort these breeders give these guys are second to none . If your looking to purchase a new horse look no further than West Moor Farm Stud & Equestrian Centre highly recommend. These guys also specialise In horsemanship,and are amazing to watch and also teach , hence me continuing my 2 yr olds education with there help. They have fabulous on site facilities for hire also .

May 26, 2020 - It’s rare these days to find a true horseman, simply doing the job to make the world a better place for the horse - well there are 2 at West Moor Farm.
Watching brothers Tristan and Cedric work together seamlessly while building our very reactive horses confidence, first with a comprehensive foundation of groundwork and then restarting her under saddle has been a genuine pleasure to see. They have also taken the time to ensure that they have taught us alongside her throughout the journey.
The daily care she receives whilst on livery is as if she is their own - the bond they have developed with her and the confidence they have given her to relax is remarkable.
This is the beginning of the journey but with the secure foundation they are building it is set up to be a success for everyone but most importantly our horse.

December 31, 2020 - This is such a beautiful woods and such a magical place to camp. We are a family with young children and a dog and everything was catered for. We had wheelbarrows to help us with our things and the rangers were always on hand. I was taken aback by how friendly and helpful everyone that works here was. The boys loved gathering wood, exploring and making fires. The shower, hammock and our makeshift outdoor cinema were definitely a highlight. It’s was so good to get back to nature and bond as a family, we will definitely be back! Kelly Williams
