West Moor Farm Equestrian Centre
– State of the Art Modern Facilities –
West Moor Farm Equestrian Centre is situated near Longhorsley, Morpeth (Northumberland). We are are easily accessible, with excellent road links to the A1.
This purpose build Equestrian Centre boasts all the facilities necessary to run equine events, safe in the knowledge that the weather will not dampen your day. Whether it is arena hire, competing or hiring our facilities to host your own events, we are on hand to provide you with all the support and assistance you may need. We even have an authentic Italian Pizzeria on site for those tired of burgers from a van!
Indoor Arena
60m x 30m indoor arena. High quality surface of sand, fibre and wax. Full length viewing area. A jumping course is set up to hire from Thursday- Saturday and for flatwork Monday and Tuesday 8am-8pm.
Outdoor Arena
65m x 34m outdoor rubber, sand, fibre arena. Frost resistant. Warm up area for our competitions. Available to hire Monday-Sunday 8am-8pm.

Fantastic facilities and very professional setup. Both Tristan and Cedric are friendly and helpful and couldn’t be any more welcoming. This will be a very regular venue for us and love visiting this wonderful yard, can’t recommend enough 😃😃

June 20, 2020 - Camping at Southover Woods was magical! The forest was stunning especially with all the rhododendrons in flower. We loved our pitch, the fire, wild toilets and showers. We're planning to return. It is a stone's throw from so many beautiful places along the coast too. It was amazing- I wish we could have stayed longer than a week! Thank you! 🙂

June 7, 2022 - Tristan did an amazing job with my unbacked mare who needed time and patient handling as she had so little life experience. He worked at her pace allowing her to develop and gave me help and support to prepare for her coming home so that I could continue the work to bring her on. I would most definitely recommend West Moor Farm Equestrian Centre for any issues you may have with your horse or a kind gentle backing process.

September 18, 2021 - I had Tristan come out to my yard to resolve some loading issues with my 13 year old ex riding school cob.
From starting to loading was 20 mins - a horse that previously would turn and run at the sight of a wagon or trailer ramp.
Tristan was so quiet, patient and understanding and I have been able to load successfully since using the approach he taught us, developing my bond with Hayden in the process.
I highly recommend Tristan for help with any loading issues. I am now looking forward to our outings in the trailer with confidence! Rachel Helsdon
August 22, 2022 - Would just like to thank Tristan and Cedric for my fabulous , well mannered, 2 year old Knabstrupper gelding I purchased from them less than 2 weeks ago. I have never experienced a breed like it ! they are so friendly, well mannered, brave , trainable and the time and effort these breeders give these guys are second to none . If your looking to purchase a new horse look no further than West Moor Farm Stud & Equestrian Centre highly recommend. These guys also specialise In horsemanship,and are amazing to watch and also teach , hence me continuing my 2 yr olds education with there help. They have fabulous on site facilities for hire also .
